Spring 2011 Roomies!

This semester I was pretty scared to have ALL new roommates, but it turned out to be an unforgettable time with a great group of chica's!

Lovely Lina,

She is so adorable! She was my room roommate and we had a couple of great, late night talks. Loved to cook and cook for guys especially :) She had a crazy, infectious laugh and loved to share her opinion and volunteer to read scriptures in church. Oh, did I mention she is originally from Nepal?! Unfortunately she was in the apartment for about a month when she had to move back to Baltimore. Miss you! Wonderful wonderful girl!

Awesome Ariel,

I really looked up to this gal. Always on task, always on schedule and she knew how to have a good time. Beautiful smile and loved life :) I wish I would have gotten to know her a little bit better, but I admire her for putting up with all the messes we made and her reminding us to pick it up. Late night brownies with all of us. Yum!

Too Hot Trisha, (tee hee)

So much to say about this chica! I have no idea how she stayed up late all the time to do all of her interior design homework. She knew how to work too. An excellent cook as well. Burning Furbies...haha good times! Finally someone who appreciated BOTH Alice and Wonderland's! I think we decided to be Alice's for Halloween and it's gonna be off the chain! Ha me trying to sound gangsta just doesn't work. Crazy hip-hop dancer, even though I only saw an excerpt :) She and Chrissie totally got me hooked on "So You Think You Can Dance". Can't wait to start another fun semester with her!

Chrissie the Cutie,
Love this lady! She and I were both in the same English class, it was great to vent about something she and I could relate to. She has the greatest facial expressions ever! Made me giggle everyday and when she laughs she clasps her hands together! I don't why but I thought it was awesome! Unfortunately we all teased her quite a bit. But she took it well, and loved every moment with her! Stick with me yoga buddy!

Marvelous Mary,

The graduating (now graduated) senior of the group! Loved to read, well that was part of her class anyways. She got Chrissie and I hooked on yoga big time. We started to do yoga at night in the backyard with our good friend Sam from Briarwood. It was more like laughter therapy than real yoga :) She was so sweet! Made the best pizza dough I have ever had and was there for me when I had one of the worse days of the semester and helped me calm down :) Now she is in Alaska teaching at a Pre-School and FINALLY seeing her boyfriend who talked with her every day. I give you guys brownie points for sticking with a long distance relationship.

Now for some traditions.

Flying Squirrels,
Mary started this one. She's tiny but can cause some damage when air borne. We were have a slumber party in the living room and I was on my mattress, minding my own business when I see a tiny figure in the hair and brown eyes with a crazed look in them, "FLYING SQUIRREL!" Mary lands right on me! She got up, and laughed hysterically while I was seeing if there was any permanent damage on my body. After that night, EVERYBODY has been flying squirreled.

Simba's,
Our good friend Soren, Trisha's boyfriend, taught us this. You lick your thumb, go across someones forehead and in your best Rafiki voice, "Simmmbaaa!" Haha I know kinda gross, but a great tradition!

Harry Potter's,
At first you had to make a lighting bolt mark on the person's forehead with a marker or pen for it to count, but by the end of the semester, as long as you made a mark you could call it a Harry Potter.

Mario Party's
Mary, Chrissie, and I played soooo much Mario, much thanks to Edward for letting us borrow his game. If you had a camera and pressed record while we were playing, then you would be entertained for hours. Such a fun time.

What a wonderful semester it was. I miss all of these girls!

Lina (bottom) and Mary (top)!
Our Murder Mystery Dinner put on by Soren. SO MUCH FUN!

Chrissie and her friend Kat :)

Sorry Ariel for not having a photo of you :( Love you!
