Happy Belated Easter!

There are two things I love about Easter.

One: it gives us a chance to be with family again

Two: To remember the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for you and me
to return to Him and our Father again.

This Easter was a little more relaxing. My relatives from Orem came, my family, and my grandparents. That's it. It was kind of nice, but the Easter egg hunt wasn't as much fun. As the years go by it's more fun to see little kids go look for the eggs.

Dad enjoying a polish dog.

Ah horseshoes, the Easter sport around this house

Mom, Aunt Kelly, Hilary, Me, Jordynn
Me? I tried to focus more on the money eggs. Ha my cousin Jake received a snake in one egg and a bee in another. Got to love the family humor. He freaked out and we all laughed.

Sunday was wonderful. I finally have healthy treats in my Easter basket. YES! After a wonderful morning in church, we decided to take dinner over to Camille's place since they couldn't come that Saturday. No one had any complaints there!

I know John appreciated it because he said leftovers were
getting to be a little bit overwhelming. Camille loved it so she could get some more rest in
while we took care of dishes and played with the boys.

Showing off our bright colors. Man this pose of me is not very flattering.
I finally have pictures of Little Luke! He's so adorable!
We all got a turn in holding him. He is so precious.

He's awake for a picture! Hooray!
Look at all that hair!
Looks like he saying, "Give me something" Haha
Have a wonderful day everybody and wish me luck! I sort through all of my college boxes today :S

Your Laughter is Much Appreciated

Easter was incredible! I hope you all had a nice, relaxing weekend. I know I did! A post about that will probably come later on this week.

I am super busy today. I have a lot of clothes and a lot of boxes to go through. I head back to Rexburg this Saturday! YAY!!!

So here's just a little something for you all to laugh by.

My brother and I now know why chipmunk voice apps were created. It was so you didn't have to suck helium balloons and get massive headaches afterwards.

Made It! Pt. 2

Oh my such a wonderful day! I wish I had some shorts I could wear and start getting my tan back. However, I was still comfortable enough in my skinny jeans to bask in the sun at Grandpa's Farm and watch a spider spin a web from one blade of grass to another. Almost fell asleep too. Sigh. So wonderful.

Well the rest of the weekend consisted of family visits. After Logan headed back to Malad where I would be picked up by my ever so wonderful fiance, Edward! After making our way through lottery traffic we were on our way to Orem where we spend some time visiting my Aunt Kelly (who has voiced her approval of Edward) and then safe in bed. The next day I watched Conference.
My cousins are so busy. Soccer practices, baseball games, work, etc.
So I only saw them in passing but it was still fun to see them even for a brief moment.

Edward then came and picked me up and visited his Grandma Brower. She is such a sweet lady and it was a joy to get to know her. We then headed to Provo and watched the afternoon session of Conference with his sister Amelia, her husband, and adorable Elanor. So much fun! They had a projector and surround sound and a comfortable seating area.

Saw his brother at a Smith's in Salt Lake. Too bad we couldn't visit him more. He makes me laugh :)

Then on our way back to Malad! Spend Sunday watching conference, enjoying good food and playing with the little nephews. Then all too soon it was time for Edward to go. I almost hopped into the car and went back up to Rexburg with him. Only a week and three days left until I go back up! YAY!

So yeah that's the rest of my weekend. Sorry, no pictures. Forgot :)

Enjoy the lovely weather!

Whew...Made It! Pt. 1

This weekend was colossal! So many wonderful memories were made and it almost entirely wore me out! However, here I am in my room, just finishing a kiwi (ah, so good), and ready to begin my tale.

Hunger Games. One of the biggest movie events of the year. Josh, Hilary and I took part in it! Yes, we were a week late, but the theater was still crowded. I decided it would be fun to celebrate "The Games" with a little themed dinner.

Ta Da! Lunch with Cinna! It was chicken in a creamy orange sauce, peas, and rolls with butter and jam. In the book the rolls are shaped like flowers and the peas are prepared in an exquisite way. Most of you know I'm not very patient when it comes to cooking so I bought the rolls and got out the frozen peas. It was actually a hit! Well, "Chef" Hilary said the orange part of the sauce was overpowering but Dad and Josh enjoyed it!

Next up, dessert! Decided to take a stab at butter cream frosting, putting three colors in one icing bag, and make "Girl on Fire" flames. Ha, epic fail, but they were still delicious. I'm so glad Hilary was there to reassure me that butter cream frosting can be very temperamental. She even ate one!

Friday, March 30th, Hunger Games! YAY!

We get to Logan and ate at Chick-Fil-A. I had a ten dollar bill and a roll of quarters left. The total came to about $20. So I gave Hilary, who was driving, the money. Her, "What's this?" Me, "It's a roll of quarters, just give it to him." Haha the guy looked at us like we were crazy and started laughing. Hey dude, at least I put it in a roll for you. I could have given you a bag of 'em. Well we all laughed.

Then we ate our food in the parking lot. Yummy stuffs.

Like our shirts???

The movie was surprising. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. Of course, it's a book made into a movie so some crucial and funny moments were left out. I felt it needed a more comic relief that the book offers. Hilary hasn't read them yet, and loved it! One of my favorite parts was the parade with the tributes. Exactly how I pictured it!

OH! I almost forgot. Earlier last week, I became an aunt again! Welcome Luke Henry Allen. He's such a little blessing to everyone. He's still has to be on oxygen, but he is getting better every day. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.

Look for the second part of my huge weekend news soon!

Burg Weekend

Went back to wonderful Rexburg last weekend and I must say it was quite the adventure :)

Friday played some video games with Edward. He introduced me to a game called Katamari (I think that's how it's spelled). Anyways, you go around rolling objects in a ball. The bigger it is, the more objects you can roll up. It looks super weird, but it's actually SUPER fun! I bet even the nephews would love it! I'm really tired of being away from Edward. I want to see him every day and be with him as much as I can.

Saturday Edward had to work. I spent the morning working out with my old roommate Katie. I don't know if it kicked her butt, but mine was definitely kicked!

Then spent a wonderful morning walk with miss Vanessa, talking about the most random things in the entire world. I think all of the sugar from Kiwi Loco helped with the random subjects.

Afternoon consisted of Vanessa and I attempting to make a Snickaloaf. Snickers cake to be exact. The recipe was intense! We made homemade caramel and chocolate sauce, and pudding! I totally burnt the caramel sauce. Kari went to go look at the sauces and she asked, "Um, which one's the caramel sauce?" That's how badly I burnt it! Let's just say next time we are making it "Cooking with Dummies" friendly :)

Katie, Kari, Edward, and I went on a dinner picnic. So much fun! The weather in Rexburg was absolutely perfect! It makes me even more anxious to be up there and live right across from the park! I hope I can do homework there every day!

Visited our good friends Soren and Trisha for a little while and it was great to catch up with them. Hope Trisha gets feeling better from a nasty flu. It was fun just to laugh again with them.

Sunday came and all too soon it was time to return to Malad. This goodbye was extremely hard because it's the last time I see Vanessa before she leaves on her mission to Texas and when I see Kari, Katie, and Trisha again I will be married! So many changes...

However a new adventure is about to begin and I
 can't wait!

Top O' the Evenin'

I went over to my sister's house this past weekend and had a blast! A little leprechaun came to the house and gave them a St. Patrick's Day to remember!

First, he hid chocolate gold coins , and green apple marshmallows around the house.

Then they found out the Leprachaun had played a trick on them! He turned their milk green! They actually were scared to use the milk. Porter ended up drinking some but Cameron refused.

On to the next trick! We needed to go to the store but they found that he'd stolen their boots as well! When though found them, they couldn't believe they were getting more treasures!

In the afternoon I brought out some paper and finger paints.

To top it all off we made Leprechaun hats and Camille made Sugar Cookie Brownies with green frosting (so deadly). Let's just say I didn't do so well on my diet. Worth it? Heck yes :)

By the end of the day, they kept saying "That was a great St. Patrick's Day. I like St. Patrick's Day Michelle. That Leprechaun sure is tricky. He played two tricks on us." It was so cute! It was fun to celebrate it with them and to see my sister and talk with her and help her around the house. Can't wait for the third baby to arrive, and neither can she! The day was so much fun that one little man fell asleep :)

Wedding Plans and a Pintrest Fan

Hello again, hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Well, wedding plans are coming along smoothly. We are trying to get the big things out of the way before I go back up to school, because honestly, I will have very little time to plan it. We have decorations picked out, photographers, cake design, someone to do announcements, and the big one...MY DRESS!

Nothing says motivation to stay fit then buying your wedding dress four months before you put it back on! We were just looking around for a style that I like and boy is it beautiful! I didn't want to take it off :) Sorry, though no pictures since Edward reads my blog on occasion.

So Pintrest, very addicting, helped me decide what I wanted for my wedding. Totally a life and time saver. It also gets me into the crafty mood. I finally finished some coasters! Hooray! I still have tons of more designs left to do and hopefully I can find good homes for them :)
