Thoughts for Posterity

Whenever I can't express my feelings through working out, screaming into my pillow, reading, or music, I jot them down in an old fashioned journal. With technology, there are many ways to keep memories. However, there is something about having a pen and a book just waiting to be filled with deepest desires, darkest secrets, and fervent feelings. This is why I keep a journal. I started my journal writing when I was about nine. I have loved it ever since. It is so fun to go back and see what I wrote. I am so happy that I will be able to share my feelings with my future posterity and for my grammar and spelling to dramatically improve! You don't have to write in it every day or week. Whenever something incredible has happened, write it down as soon as possible!
Oh and one other thing, with technology moving as fast as it can, we need to preserve what we write on electronic devices as well. The main thing I try to focus on is blogging and taking pictures. In the near future there will be more gadgets to play with. Blogs and pictures won't last forever on a computer. I have decided to print out my blog posts and develop my pictures. I have terrible luck with computers crashing on me and loosing precious memories.
I can't wait for when my grandchildren and great grandchildren open an old chest and find journals filled with the life their grandmother lived.
So far I have filled my life story in nine precious journals.
As you can see I have quite a variety!
