Day 23-Favorite Vacation

As much fun as Disneyland was with my family, I would have to say the Disneyland trip with the Swing Choir was a blast! Going to Disneyland with all my old friends, performing on stage, with no parents around, was by far a once in a lifetime trip.  It will never happen again like that. I would just like to share some of my favorite memories from this vacation.
After a full day of traveling and magic, I was back in my apartment. I was completely exhausted. The last thing I remembered was falling onto the bed, dead asleep. I was probably there for about a half an hour when I heard the hotel room telephone ring. I shot up! My thought was, "Who in the world has this number?" I was pretty worried. I picked it up, answered it, and I heard Kody's game show voice, "Michelle, you just won an all expense paid trip to come upstairs and play Phase 10 with Kody and Ty!" Clapping and a monotone yay followed.That woke me up! We then played for about two hours. That was so funny! The trip without those two would have been so dull.
Next was when my friend Celest accidentally dropped her Fanta drink in the water at the Bear River Run in California Adventure. Her seat came up, Ty told her it might be a compartment to put your belongings in, but there was water underneath the seat. Without thinking she put it down there. We looked behind us and an orange bottle was bobbing in the water! Kody's expression on that ride was priceless! I don't think he wanted to get wet. You had to have been there to get the true humor in that memory.
After getting soaked to the bone, a bunch of us sat on a bench, enjoying a slushie. All of the sudden a harmless bird swoops down in front of Celest and Kody. They both screamed, flailed their arms, and kicked their legs! We were all laughing hysterically while people just stared and shook their heads.
Performing in Disneyland was incredible. The day before our performance we went to a workshop. That was really exciting! Our instructor was full of spirit and gave us this boost of energy. The day of the performance was unforgettable. We didn't have a huge audience, but we did our best! We had this huge adrenaline rush and it really showed on stage!
My last memory was watching the fireworks and Fantazmic with my boyfriend at the time. We just sat there, cuddling, and mesmerizing the beauty of it all. It was quite romantic. I could name a lot more but these, by far, are my favorite.
