So I have some time to actually post something. It's a miracle! This semester have been extremely crazy but I'm learning a lot about school and myself. I heard something a while ago that I have been trying to remember. Don't focus on what you can't do. Work on your strengths and the weaknesses will work themselves out as well. I really liked that because sometimes life can seem really overwhelming. Just take it once step at a time, have faith in the Lord and things will work out.
So I got this idea from my friend Christina. Check out her blog here. She sets weekly goals and its been fun to watch her achieve them and give her encouragement. When you have other people rooting for you, it pushes you even more to achieve them. I would just like to thank her for this idea because I feel like I could use some goals that are not school related right now.
So here are a few goals I would like to work on this week.
#1 I really need to start practicing the piano again. My books of music just sit in my closet, collecting dust. I feel like my talent is doing the same thing. So once this week I will go find a room and play for at least a half an hour. I feel this will give me some relaxation in doing something I love.
#2 Do yoga every morning or night this week. I really miss yoga. I don't know a lot, but whenever I do it, I feel so refreshed. I feel this will also help with my stress.
#3 Go to the temple. I haven't gone as much as I used to. I think it's because I don't like going alone, but I really need to. So I'm thinking Thursday when I'm done with classes earlier. Either that, or I will go Saturday morning. I love having a temple in walking distance, even if it's freezing outside!
