Zoo Time!

Yesterday was one of the best days of the seven week break! Edward and I met up with some of his family to go to the zoo! It was SUPER hot. I'm so glad they had fans with misters on them. Totally worth standing in front of them for like ten minutes and not look at animals for a while. We had tons of food to snack on, seriously we should have just ate all our snacks for lunch and dinner. It was such an enjoyable time despite the heat. I met his brothers James and Peter, his sister Amelia, and his adorable niece Elanor. I had such a fun time with his siblings. They were way nice and made me laugh. I felt accepted by them, which is a totally new experience for me when it comes to meeting a boyfriend's family. I think one of my favorite parts of the zoo were all the cute little monkeys and Zoorasic Park! They had dinosaurs galore and I loved it! Elanor not so much. I barely missed seeing my friend Sam there though. That was a bummer. Oh we also went to a few a D.I's to start looking for mine and Edward's Halloween costumes. I'm going as Alice and he the Mad Hatter, cartoon version mind you. We had success in finding pieces for his outfit, but me not so much. It's really hard to find the right blue dress. Anyways there's plenty of time for that. We also ate at an Asian diner called Pen Wei. That was excellent! You get a lot for what you pay for. Highly recommended. After the zoo we went to the Gateway mall and played in the fountain there to cool and went on a little shopping trip with Amelia to Old Navy.
Overall it was such an enjoyable day. To be with the one you love all day and enjoying every minute of their company is truly a treasured memory. I really enjoyed meeting more of his family and how nice they were as well. Boy was it hard to stay awake when I got home and he needed me to talk to him to stay awake himself!
Now for some pictures!
Edward and James trying to move the world with a little success I might add

This picture makes me laugh.

Those holes are genius. We had too much fun in them

Me and my childhood friend, a dinosaur!

Big ole Orangutang!

Edward excited to see another elephant

Giraffe. Whoot!

Cooling off at the gateway fountain. Elanor turned just as I was taking the picture. In the middle is Amelia

Ladies and gents, Edward actually smiles his REAL smile in a picture!
I wish I had a better camera but hey it was a day to remember, even with low quality pictures.
