I have the best parents ever! Sure they're protective but who's isn't at some point? Jackie and Steve met on a blind date :) They have been in love ever since. My dad grew up in Malad, Idaho and my mom lived in Firth, Idaho. Dad was going back to school up at Ricks College. He wasn't sure if things were going to work out if he went back. During the drive, he realized that my mom was more important so turned around, dated some more, and married her in the Idaho Falls Temple for all time and eternity! How romantic and such a cute couple! My dad is an extremely hard worker. He told me yesterday that when he is just sitting around and not doing anything productive, he feels pretty gross. He loves the gospel and loves to make us laugh. He was a very dry sense of humor, but we always end up laughing at them anyways because of how he thinks they are so funny! He is very protective of his little girls, especially when it comes to guys. I guess when my sister Camille's date was picking her up, dad was outside chopping wood. He greets the poor guy with axe over his shoulder. Needless to say Camille was embarrassed! He is always watching out for us and we are forever thankful for it.
My mom is the glue that sticks us together. She may not think this, but she is a very strong women. She lost her mom when she was 18 in a work related accident. She had to go through the rest of her life not having a mom. That would be extremely hard for me, but she has done it with flying colors. She is very craftsy and loves her Relief Society handouts! She has been in various callings involving the youth and has put on several Young Women camps. She is so creative. Everyone knows how much she loves her family. She is Super Mom!
